I've put 5000 miles on my 2000 savage in 4 months...I ride 20 miles to work and back every day, and usually put about 50 miles on it on my days off. I've only driven my truck 3 times since I bought the bike, and that was to move furniture. I even ride it in thunderstorms...that proves that the savage is not a toy. It is my primary ransportation, and for only $4200 i think its a much better deal than any big bike.
